Welcome from the Network Principal – 2018.

Welcome to the Education Support South Network’s website. My name is Pauline Winrow and I am the Principal of Coolbellup Learning Centre and your ESSN Network Principal.

Our website is for staff, parents, carers and other persons interested in the provision of educational, functional and social programs for students with high support needs in Government schools in the South Metropolitan Education region.

Ours is a Network of 26 education support schools, centres and facilities who cater to the specific needs of students with disabilities K-13. We are a highly specialised team working in schools of choice, catering for a range of students with diverse needs.

The website aims to be a site for parents/carers and stakeholders who may wish to find out more about:

  • Schools of choice in their local area by accessing the schools map
  • Programs run in individual schools via the school’s website links
  • The celebration of our Network School in the ESSN newsletter.

The website is available in 17 languages and we hope you find it useful. We are keen to foster partnerships and are happy to advertise mutually beneficial information so please do not hesitate to contact us.

For staff in our Network the website aims to provide you with information about projects and professional learning and other ways you can become involved in the Network. It is a place to celebrate together and acknowledge our colleagues.

At our core is collaboration, we seek reciprocity from all our members. For us to be effective we need to hear from staff in order to address your needs and we need you to share your skills and knowledge with your Network colleagues in any way you can. We are in this together as a collaborative group so please get involved.

I am always happy for you to email me at Pauine.Winrow@education.wa.edu.au.
